State pension age to increase next month - more retirees than usual to be affected

STATE pension age changes have occurred fairly frequently in recent weeks. In early September, the state pension age was raised to 66 for a number of people born in the 1950s and the BackTo60 campaign recently had their appeal dismissed. These events have already affected thousands of retirees but from next month, additional wide scale changes will be introduced.
